September 28, 2017, the review team sent by the Beijing Municipal Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision conducted site assessment at BrightShines for the CMA accreditation. The first meeting was chaired by the review team leader, who introduced the review process to the entire company, and BrightShines’ general manager reported to the review team about the company’s general information such as organizational structure, laboratory equipment, and staffing. During the review period, the review team used methods such as on-site assessments, inspecting documents, organizing seminars to thoroughly evaluate different aspects, such as testing personnel’s technical abilities, key personnel responsibilities, inspection of environmental conditions, equipment, measure traceability, inspection reports, records, internal audit and management review, outcome quality control, quality system documents, authorized signatory, laboratory’s testing capability. After a comprehensive, objective, and in-depth review, the review team fully affirmed and highly appraised our laboratory in terms of testing ability, operations, service quality, and facilities. The team also provided some improvement suggestions. More importantly, the review team determined that our company meets the requirements of the “Inspection and Testing Institutions’ Qualification Accreditation Criteria” and successfully passed the site assessment. Passing the CMA certification site assessment is an important recognition of our company’s achievements in laboratory software, hardware and testing technologies. It marks a new step in our laboratory development and provides the necessary foundation to conducting the full range of inspection and testing services. After the site assessment, our relevant departments made improvements and adjustments based on the review team’s suggestions. On November 28, 2017, BrightShines officially obtained by the CMA accreditation certificate issued by Beijing Municipal Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision.
